tmobile is offering a special kind of phone. instead of using the cingular airwaves constantly, eating your minutes up, if you are near a wi-fi router, your calls will use the internet and the calls will be free! the phone switches from air time to internet time. for 10 dollars extra a month, plus a regular plan that suits you best, tmobile will give you the phone and a router for your home.

some places that charge fees for internet, like starbucks, are designed to pass through the log-in/pay site and allow you to connect to their wifi for free.

i would definitely check this out. sounds like a killer deal for someone who uses their phone a lot.

an article on reuters describes the new simpsons movie as being offensive, targeting churches and environmentalists. in a 10 minute preview of the new movie, showed in the uk, green day is booed off a stage for speaking out about the environment to a crowd in springfield, while lisa is shunned by her neighbors for being a green activist.

also in the clip, homer is asked to explain his behavior and flips through a bible and exclaims "this book doesn't have any answers".

a bet with homer, bart has to skateboard naked through town and you are able to see his bits and pieces through a hedge.

telecommunications mogul, carlos slim, is now the richest man in the world, he is worth 67.8 billion. gates is worth 59.2 billion.

shares in slim's mobile phone empire surged by 27% over the second quarter, compared with a 5.7% rise for microsoft. slim's bank, inbursa, also saw its stock jump by 20%.

chris benoit used wrestling move to end son's life

the sun is reporting chris benoit used his signature wrestling move, the crippler crossface hold, on his son, causing his death.

Police were originally confused by bruising on the young lad that wouldn't have been there had he been strangled.

Then an officer watched a wrestling tape, quickly realising that the marks on Daniel's body matched the application of a version the Crossface.

The version Chris used in WWE rings involved him placing an arm of a floored opponent between his legs before locking his hands around their face and pulling back to stretch their neck.

In the context of a wrestling match the move was lightly applied, with Benoit's foe 'selling' it with his facials to make it look like he was really hurt.

District Attorney Scott Ballard said: "A choke hold was used to strangle the boy, rather than hands, because there's no bruising consistent with strangulation by hands."

Respected American wrestling writer Dave Meltzer added: "There was bruising consistent with the Crippler Crossface on one arm and Daniel's face. There were no bruises on his neck.

"The police don't believe, because of the size difference, that the hold was applied exactly as it would be in a pro wrestling match.

"Benoit would have been in more of a kneeling position, sort of straddling Daniel while using one leg to pull back on his arm."
